Well...surely the experiment should be up now, and we can go back to normal, i.e. with single posts again?

Regarding seeing pages of scans when you'd really only like to see one, I feel for folks like Di, who are limited to a certain amount of bandwith usage each month - loading up all those extra images wastes bandwidth that they can't afford to spare. Just a thought.

I couldn't agree more. I ran the traffic analyser Fiddler when I clicked on Di's thread in this post. I'm sure glad I'm not on 56k or a tight-capped 3G/HSDPA:

As I'm not familiar with the history

, could you please update me?

I'd like to know why you want this functionality so badly? From what I understand, there is already the posibility to link to a single post - only the whole threads opens up, is this still a problem?

From what the developers told me, it's really hard to implement the single post again because of technical stuff (I don't understand half what they say

) but it comes down to the fact that we would rank lower in Google, meaning less traffic, less new visitors, less crowded forums...

short version ; Di needs it cos its

Long version : i have a folder on my hard drive of single posts BLANk MEDIA from members that have posted Scannes , same drive that i have and same Codes etx .
I get hard capped after 3 gigs ..

ps : di is left handed and her handwriting is worse than her spelling

DVDFAB forum has it

ok if you running out of storage place get rid of the Groops grops gruops groups

That nobody post on any more.

People that have not a flat internet connection or a fast connection require a lot of more time (mostly if there are a lot of attachments) to load the entire page, so loading the single post will be very handy

I like looking at Postes / images /ATT in blank media Forum that some one has single posted out ..

cdfreaks had a Wiki Link GONE now . How come MYCE dont have one ?

I dont know much about Traffic on this site All I know is that 10AM CET When I joind there were about 30+ more MEMBERS logget in than Normal
