Very slow to open or change page.

Tomorrow morning we are going to do some tests to find the problem. Together with some experts we will look what is going wrong.

This could result is some downtime of a few seconds or a slow website. Unfortunately this is the only way for us to find out what's wrong. I'll try to keep you up to date.

Never heard of next half 30 minutes (does that mean in 15 minutes?) but anyway tell us what you found wrong if anything or can you just say it is fixed now?

It was early this morning We did found some things that may cause the problems. Now we have to wait how the servers behave the next couple of days.

I notice a definite speed improvement on both the main site and the forum site. Using FF 3.

I had to extend my computer chair and add a headrest it's so fast...
Now to add seat belts...

Glad to hear the site is fast again! We think we can even do a little bit better. So next week we will try some other settings to further improve the sites speed.

Please let us know how the site speeds behaves in the mean time. I'll keep you posted!

We are still working on the webservers to get some more information about the slow response times. When we have enough data we will make the site fast again.

Database error and a couple of timeouts on page refreshes...

I have been getting timed out on a constant basis since 11;30 EST. Its really slow for 1 minute, then its fine for the next. Very strange.
