I am truly sorry, but I see one option missing, "none of the above".

I thought about adding it but for two reasons I didn't.

1/ I don't think that is an option at this stage.
2/ It wasn't in the original survey.

Yeah I said as soon as I saw it that I thought the trophy thing was a really good idea.

If I'd seen it beforehand I'd have done a version of it with the various objects instead of the coloured shapes.

Didn't get the chance though.

Prefer the device icons to plain icons and also like the added flair of the red background.

I also like font design of sets 1&3, I think it draws less attention to itself, there appeared to be a lot of criticism to the perceived similiarity to MySpace with the name change, having MyCe only reinforces that, whereas myce does not, at least as I see it.

It looks like the main logo and the awards logo should have been done separately, as this obviously made it hard for some to vote for one set.

Still, the survey monkey poll got to 314 votes. This poll is a long way from that.

The black background logo in set #4, gives you an idea of what MyCE represents, with images people can understand either of the award logos reminds me of a Menorah.

As an experienced printer of many different types of media, I would go for Set 2 (even though it is a bit vague) for ease of pantone # match, or whatever colour guide # you are using. Also it sticks with the MyCE upper/lowercase theme...

The red splash logo (imho) would be good for special events and/or deals, through membership to the site. (maybe even as a cool browser tab icon) Try moving the editor's choice to the award and superimpose the same images as the black background logo in set #4

Whatever it ends up being, it will do, what it will do...

With almost 455.000 members this must be a concern to this forum. Do members really care abouth all this?
In this thread, for the last four days only 6 regular members (cdfreaks stuff members excluded) posted a comment. 17 members in total visited and casted a vote...

Okay, But then it should have been 7 fingers. What about 10 buddhism fingers...

Okay, a 15y member maybe shouldn't express my worries. Warned as I am atm.

Don't forget though that it's already a 'done deal' as the real vote is over.

C0deKing was just curious as to what the answer for a members only poll might have been.

I think this poll already shows a true representation of what the result of the other poll should have been.

There was some very strange voting trends on the survey monkey poll, like for example set #1 jumped up 5 votes just after the poll closed. At close it was 108 for set #4 and 111 for set #1. Within less than a minute after it closed, set #1 jumped to 116...

Robin mentioned the problem with multiple votes from users trying to manipulate the poll.

Maybe there was more than one instance of that and the votes had to be corrected?

Although come to think of it if that was the case then they'd have gone down not up.

That whole thing was a real shock to me though as I checked on the last day and thought set #4 was well in the lead.

Why should the members care about something they have no say in ... the deal is done.. we have no say now or ever in the masterful plannings of the site owners ... I said my piece knowing it was on deaf ears, but I calls em as I sees em (the whole "member" thing is BS anyways .. it don't mean anything to them but stats )

And I said it REMINDS ME of a Menorah ... and 10 fingers of Buddism , since it is part of a ritual belief with no symbols that I know of to represent it, is rarely shoved in your face like the Menorah is... so I went with something most non-buddists can relate to...

Anything with a Monkey in it certainly doesn't inspire much confidence here either... but I seen what they have sold the owners on, so I have to admire the great con they have goin anyways. They a subsidiary to the chicken outfit that drew up those laffable logos?

Think the owners of cdfreaks.com better promote their new site better...

Just make a search for MyCE... what do you come up with, http://www.myce.net.cn/cas/login?ser...myce.net.cn%2F.
This is our reality in Linux with Firefox anyway, cdfreaks.com and their MyCE comes as the third option...

Worlds largest CD&DVD Community...Think we better change our top web domain name.
Sorry, to late as it seems.
