bug (?) in the forum software:
look @ post #19... the member wanted to have his name changed.
well, the name is now changed, and also all quotes, where someone quoted him, are now changed to the new nick. so i imagine that the forum software uses something like "Originally Posted by %user_number_1234"...
BUT in this case (post #19) he edited his post (before getting his new nick) - now the bottom line shows "Last edited by <comment by razor: he_didn't want his real name showing>"... so, it's not dynamically updated ...

Back in 2003 when I originally joined CDFreaks I signed up as 'dewd'. Somehow I didn't get the registration e-mail (must have typed something wrong) and had no way to finish my registration. So I just signed up again as 'dewd2'. Can someone please change my name back to 'dewd' now? Please :-) After two years I'm starting to have an identity crisis.

In the real world I am a dyslexic, so that makes creating names and passwords a challenge.

I got the password right but NOT the name...It is remelian

My tongue was hannging out over my eye-tooth when I registered as I was amazed at all the stuff I was not sure if I was seeing correctly...so I could not see to spell a screen name correctly that I use on a dozen other (Non-tecnical) boards...

If you understand my excuse for miss-spelling ang graciously forgive me for mis-spelling my own screen name I sure would appreciate the change from remelain to remelian.

it's a long story, I came back after a year of inactivity, mostly lurking before, a little earlier I got active over at digital digest and kept coming over here for technical dvd
burning knowledge. They started a general computing forum and made me a mod,
my avitar led to me being called chewy, and so forth. We have a lot of crossover
between forums and it's confusing to have 2 identities. Especially when I am trying to help the same person on the same problem in both forums.
