Windows 8 Discuss, Windows 8 RTM Multiple Activation Keys (MAK) leak on the web - KMS servers down at Software forum; FCOL didn't MS make this thing only a 40 buck upgrade so all the pirates wouldnt be cheapskates and just buy the freaking thing. Ya know, it's OK to pay for software sometimes, specially your O/S. If anything, pay for your freaking O/S.

I'd add to the buy list the antivirus/firewall too

I'm pretty impressed with this. I'm quite pleased I had this opportunity to try out Windows, it has worked seamlessly in my operation, and will purchase it

Haha yes indeed, virus and firewall a must.. Truthfully it's getting to the point I am seriously for the 1st time ever, considering buying a Mac. Just a cheap mini. My PC died several months ago and it too much trouble to fix (i tried everything but replace CPU and PSU) and my wife has a win 7 PC I can use. I'm just fed up with windows and MS products. I've been a windows embedded platform developer for years now and the pains of it are just not worth it any more. the dilemma is, I don't like Mac o/s much either... But at least it's far far more secure.

If you guys just want to try out the operating system before buying, and don't mind reinstalling when the system is actually being sold, you should download the 90 day trial, which is being offered free of charge.

Isnt there a trial version that you can get to try before buying? I read there is one for general consumers. No need to pirate and go through this trouble.

"It’s unclear if Microsoft will be able to block these keys once activated." I'm quite sure an update telling the PC to fone home and validate it's key will fix this..

I've activated windows 8 pro rtm on a VHD installation. Can i reinstall unto my hard drive and copy the actiavtion files?
