Windows 8.1 Smart Search now supports natural language searches

Bing Smart Search in Windows 8 just got updated to support more natural search queries.

Bing Smart Search was introduced last year in Windows 8.1 to allow users to search for files, programs or settings on their PC, this week Microsoft is rolling out a significant update that supports more natural search queries. This will make it easier for users to find the settings they're looking for.

For example, users can simply type "My screen is too bright" to get access the brightness settings or ask Bing "How do I delete an app?". Other examples include "Install a printer" and "Get apps for Windows".

On top of that the Bing team made sure more relevant Store apps will show up in the search charm and also improved the recognition of common spelling mistakes.
