Hi I have a LG RH177 dvd recorder, everything works fine but when I have the recorder on and I'm not doing any thing with it the time-shift activates I turn it off but 2 or 3 mins later it starts up again, there's nothing in the manual about this problem, can you guy's help

Have you tried looking through the setup menus for an option to turn it off.
