Does anyone know how to make it region free?

Just out of curiosity, what is the model number of your DVD player? As different Prism model numbers have different unlocking methods, we need to know the model number in order to try looking it up.

its a Prism D240

I had a look around, but without any success I'm afraid. From what I can see, it looks like the model number is based on the package you may have received the player as part of. For example, Amazon has been selling Midi-DVD/Karaoke Player packages bundled with different sets of movies under the package models Prism MIDI-D240, D241, D242 and so on, even though its the same player in each package. In fact, Prism Leisure appears to be just a large distributor of DVDs and CDs and cannot find any player information on their website.

If there are any other model numbers or codes (apart from the Serial #) listed on your DVD player itself, you can try mentioning them here and we'll have a look around. But unfortunately, there is little info that I can find about the model number you have given, never mind a means of unlocking it.

only other number i can fid is a batch number NR.0400241
