| Need help to mod a new Xbox 360 with BenQ drive Hi guys, I just bought a xbox 360 with a benq drive 2 days ago. its the new model with HDMI port. I want to mod my xbox to play backup games and have been searching the net for guides to flash benq firmware but to no avail..... can anyone PLEASE help me? i need a detailed guide as i am a console newbie...... really need your help.....  ur help is really really appreciated...... |

| Re: Need help to mod a new Xbox 360 with BenQ drive yeah that should work since it's a VIA 6421 chipset which basically works on all flashable xbox360 dvd-rom drive (all Samsungs (Ms25/MS28)/BenQ/Hitachi's besides Hitachi 79 which requires soldering, but once the soldering is done im pretty sure that card can then flash the Hitachi 79 to . which most new xbox360's made in most of 2007 or newer either have Hitachi 79 or BenQ from what i know)here is BenQ v1.41 firmware... http://tinyurl.com/2gdmwe which is newer than the one in the link i gave you above which is v1.4 |
