| LAPTOP TO TV - WHAT CABLES DO I NEED? Hi everyone i hope ive asked this in the right section. basically i have a new laptop, and a new tv.....i have never connected these kinds of things before, have a load of movies i really dont want to put onto disc. laptop is acer aspire, tv - Vivo 42'' plasma i have attached the ports on the tv and laptop, can someone tell me what i need to get ![]() thanks for your help. |

| hi Michael i have been through the manual, there is nothing in there about this. its a pretty poor excuse for a manual to be honest thanks |

For audio, you need an additional cable from the Line-Out (or Earphones) connector to some Audio-in connector on the TV. You may need an adapter from 3.5mm to RCA or something like that. There are also cables with RCA and 3.5mm jacks available. In case TV and Laptop are equipped with HDMI connectors, a HDMI cable will feed both, audio and video to the TV. Michael | |

| Re: LAPTOP TO TV - WHAT CABLES DO I NEED? All you need is an HDMI cable and the resolution from your laptop to the TV set for 720p or preferably to 1080p. |
