How to record over a DVD-RW?
I was wanting to get a stand-alone DVD recorder to replace my wifes VCR that she records her soaps while at work. I know I would need to use a DVD-RW, but how do I record over yesterdays show with todays show? Does it have an "erase" button or can you just record over top of something like a VCR does? Or do I have to put it on my PC to erase it?

You can erase recordings on either -RW or +RW machines. No PC needed.
