error "failed to set L0 zone data capacity"

Hallo everybody.
I have a trouble trying to burn xbox360 backups.
I have a laptop dvd burner gca 4080N fw 0w33 (it is an LG drive). I've read it is ok for xbox backups but something doesn't work because i ever have the message fomr imageburn "failed to set L0 zone data capacity".
May be it need a firmware upgrade or poor disk quality.
Did anyone has this kind of trouble? how do you got rid of it?
Thankyou in advance
Stefano

Re: error "failed to set L0 zone data capacity"

I answer to myself.
It was a poor quality media. Everything worked fine with verbatim +R DL mediacode MKM 01

Re: error "failed to set L0 zone data capacity"

Hi all,

Just a quick question. I'm using Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x.

I had a failed burn with ImgBurn initially, it got stuck at trying to Read the disc around this point:

I 14:16:09 BURN-Proof: Enabled
I 14:16:09 Book Type Setting: N/A
I 14:16:09 Optimal L0 Data Zone Capacity: 1,913,760
I 14:16:09 Optimal L0 Data Zone Method: Copied From Original Disc

So i closed it all down.. popped out the DL disc and put it back in and started again.
and this is what i got:

I 14:16:09 Destination Device: [1:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20L NR02 (E (ATA)
I 14:16:09 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-001-00) (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x)
I 14:16:09 Destination Media Sectors: 3,827,520
I 14:16:09 Write Mode: DVD
I 14:16:09 Write Type: DAO

This message:

It seems to be burning, will this be successful even though i got this error message?

Cheers.
