| DVD Recorder And Digital Set Top Box Trouble I've just got a new Wharfedale DVD Recorder, and I already have a Durabrand Freeview box. I connected the DVD recorder to the freeview box, which in turn is connected to the TV. These connections are via SCART leads. I switched on the DVD and started set-up, but when scanning for channels could not find any. I can not get it to recognise the freeview box. Any ideas? |

| Re: DVD Recorder And Digital Set Top Box Trouble The scarts will be AV1 / AV2 etc. and are not part of the autoscan. You need to chain the antenna cables to for the tuner to work - If you use freeview, better to get a DVD recorder that can do DVB-T itself - in fact, even if you use sky or cable, it's getting to the point that it would be better to consider a recorder with freeview built in unless you have a completely unusable signal. |
