Burning with a Sony PS3?

Hi all
The Sony PS3 is just a games console right?
Well not exactly.

Here is an experiment with a PS3 using the (alternate OS option)
Linux distro opensuse 10.3
Burning application k3b
Burner USB Samsung

Project, just a small project with just a few files burned to CD-R

Hi chlozoe and welcome to the forums

You can't burn discs as standard on a PS3 and the procedure described above is only possible by installing an alternative operating system.

Dee is very technically aware and I wouldn't recommend experimenting with this unless you know exactly what you're getting yourself into.

you cant burn any disk with a ps3, get over it, will not happen, its made to burn
