Clone CD Discuss, Toshiba R1202 DVD combo at Burning Software forum; I am considering buying the toshiba R1202 DVD combo drive, but was wondering if anyone knows if it can back-up safedisk 2.51 and newer? I see that it has a 2 sheep rating, but haven't seen anyone posting any results using this drive.

I have one. It can backup all versions of SafeDisc 1/2, SecuROM and LaserLock reliably. Copies work everywhere. Expect a Test Article for the front page soon.

After posting, I continued to browse some of the other threads, and found my own answer in the clone - down and dirty pt 1 thread. There is some excellent info in that thread that everyone should review when coming to this forum with a question.
