| Hello, I have just tried burning Tribes 2, and as it uses SecuROM, i had Read Sub Channel Data and Audio ticked in Clone CD. Fine. Not. It got to 2%, then it took about 10 minutes to goto the next %, and so on. After 7%, i gave up, as it said there was about 5 hours remaining. My question is, is it supposed to take this long, or is there something i am doing wrong and if so, what is the way around it? |

| If your reader is a PIO Mode device then yes it will take some time. If your reader is UDMA33 then make sure it is running in that mode -----> Device Manager & check the DMA box in Properties On the other hand it just may be a poor reader - brand, model, FW Rev, OS...?

Next, click on devide manager, click on cdrom, select the rom u want, then go to settings and enable dma(tick the box)then click ok,then u have to do it again for it to work so click on settings and then tick the dma box, then ok again but this time the pc will wont to shut down to enable the changes to come into affect so reboot and your done, easy. Later
