| Ok here's the problem. For the last year or so I have been using CloneDVD2 to encide my discs to DVD 5 and have had very few problems with this, usually getting them to do so in about 15 mins. However aboiut a week ago, I started encountering problems with trying to do this and last night a disc took 9hres to encode to my hard disc! Now i know it's not the drives because I decrypted the disc first wiith DVD decrypter and that took only a few minutes to do and seems to work fine. However when I treid to convert them from my harddrive to DVD 5, it did exactly the same thing as if I'd tried to read it from the disc direcxtly. I am also pretty sure that it is not the software as Nero seems to have the same problems. This leads me to believe that something is wrong with windows itself. I think I did the DMA thing correctly and I even uniunstalled all the probem programs and ran regedit to delete alll trace of the software before reinstalling. I have run Norton Antivirus but that didn't find anything, although admittedly its not right upto date. If anyone knows what might bne causing this then that would be really helpful as I am at a loss as to whatto try next. I can provide a Hijack This report if anyone thinks that will help. Thanks in advance. |

| copying if you will. i.e. taking the original film from a dvd and making it into a DVD 5. Any files which are found in the VIDEO_TS folder. Aso realised this is in the wrong directory, should be CloneDVD, althoiugh as I said I don;t think this is there is a problem with the software |
