Probase is now on the site but I could really do with someone to host it so that it leaves me some webspace to put updated database files.?

The proggy is freeware of course written for cdfreakers etc. The prog contains the ability to not only to easily save cd copying information I have added 2 progs that enable the user to add graphic files to the database and recall them as and when needed, thereby allowing you to delete and clean up your harddrives as the pics are retained within the same database as your cd information. these pics can then be recalled by either storing to the clip board in one prog or simply just clicking on the file name and the file is autopasted to your hard drive - used then you can re-delete. You can of course delete the files from the database but it will be gone for good then....

Also Ive included a simple and basic cd jacket maker for your please plus the usual menu link to clonyxxl 2006 and clonecd...

Generally a very useful application methinks but comments and reports much appreciated.......

I can supply my coding for anyone who may wish it for either improvement or simply adding something extra - its written in visual basic 6 and the source includes the ocx's. You do need Office 97 or greater though to re-compile as it uses dao files from there to make it stand alone.....

But But But I need a host so that my site just contains a link - so I can place other goodies not so large like forceAspi etc and a WinError database proggy Ive nearly completed (Informs you of those errors and how to solve them)

Well Probase is whatever you want it to be.....

The intention is to have the software and then all what is needed is for the database to be passed around.......

Whenever someone does successful writes of a cd then it is entered into the database...... ie cd type (psx-game-application)
protection discovered - media used (type of disc -verbatum etc) -
type of writer used.....
Information is gathered from this site from guys and just added for future reference and for passing around...... the database file that is......

I know we live in a chuck away world but sometimes one has to make an effort and do a little bit of work themselves without being spoon fed all the time Ha Ha......

For some reason Clony claims that some discs that are actually protected with old safedisc as SD2 protected. For example it claimes that Tiberian sun and Fleet command are protected with SD2 although they use old safedisc. Tiberian sun is on cd-r because I "backuped" it from my friend but it shouldn't affect it. But Clony says correctly that Shogun total war is old safedisc.

is comic; please correct it as soon as possible or delete it.

My question is, is there a program that states what kind of protection a cd uses instead of having to have to go to game copyworld?

ouch my bad

this version of cloney is less translated than the others. am i doing something wrong cos the top half is translated into english but the system, logbook, options, tips tabs etc are all in german. can i change this?

Are you sure you don't have the "official" english version? This one is less translated.

I know piggy backing threads is bad but making a new thrread seems just as pointless.

Anyway, when I start Clonyxxl it goes to the select drives window. When I want to give a drive letter to a drive I can't read what the name of the drives are. Both are all messed up like this "DZIayyyy" etc. etc. Would anyone know the problem?

Drives not compatible? Missing software?

I did as you said but it still acts the same at the CD-ROM Setup.

Another thing is that it will only work when I have a virtual drive running and it uses the virtual drive's name "Generic etc. etc."
