Please Help: audio sync problems

| I am trying to rip music videos from my dvds to an ipod format. I've been using xilisoft dvd ripper ultimate 5 and dvdfab6. But both create files that have the audio out of sync with the video. Dvdfab seems to be less out of sync than xilisoft and sometimes makes good copies. What can i do to make good synced up files? Are there any specific settings I can use to minimize this problem? Or is there other software I should get that would rip copy protected dvds to ipod better? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Welcome to MyCE/CD Freaks  Since this is the DVDfab forum we can only give help with DVDFab, what profile are you using to conversion for the ipod ? also when converting it works better if you rip the files to your hard drive then convert the ripped files from the hard drive.

| Thanx for responding. Not sure what settings I used. I didnt write them down heh. After using the sofware some more I ended up making a bunch of different profiles, and ended up using Ipod videoout 640x480 1500kbps 1pass stereo. That seems to fix the problem. If I have anymore problems Ill rip the dvd to the harddrive first like you suggested , though it seems that will only add to the already long process. |
