| I just tested the latest version of ImTOO computer transfer on a Vista 32bits OS. The Ipod Touch was detected and all the songs and videos displayed correctly in the list. I could transfer videos and songs without apparent trouble. But. When I searched for songs and videos on the Ipod, it said "no songs" and "no videos". Everything was erased. That wasn't the worse. Once back to Itunes, the Touch wasn't even recognized. Itunes suggested that I "make a hard reset" of the Ipod. Which I tried: the hard reset couldn't even be performed correctely (Itunes displayed: unkown error -18). Eventually, I made a "soft reset" of the Touch and it was recognized again by Itunes. Since then, I have been unable to transfer anything to the Ipod, Itunes freezed all the time. After several hard resets, reinstall of Itunes and the whole library, both the Touch and Itunes seem to cooperate peacefully again. I'm not going to try ImToo Computer transfer any time soon.. Has anyone experienced such issue? |

| No all I have tried was transferring songs from my Ipod to my Computer and it seems to do that well. Yes, the songs are deleted from my IPOD but I think there is a setting for that.

| I am so sorry to hear that, but we haven't barged up against this problem when we test this software, please uninstall than re-download it to have a try, if it still have this problem I think imtoo will modify it as soon as possible. Thanks for your kindness to feedback this problem to us |
| I used iPod to Computer to help me. I'v used for several months, so far seems works well. |
| Apple has implemented some sort of encrypted/secure database on it's Ipod touch & Iphone's in recent firmwares which is incompatible with the old method (basically a file dump treating the ipod/iphone as a standard memory card/usb memory stick) - apparently to prevent corruption in the filesystem, or some other B$. Atm, there is no workaround except to use recent versions of itunes software to upload files to your ipod touch & Iphones. The public domain is currently working on breaking the encyption methodology, which is illegal in many parts of the world, to create open-source or alternate software to apples mal/bloatware

| That's what I hate about Apple's software. They've been known for erasing your memory when you plug your ipod into another computer, and there's not much you can do about it. In the future, however, you could jailbreak your ipod touch so that it can just be recognized as a standard USB device by any computer.

| My Ipod touch is not recognized by ImToo Computer transfer. Nano and older ipod touch have been joined ok in past months, but current new ipod touch with newer? software from apple not even recognized. I tried every suggestion from Imtoo website except I could not find a command on itunes to "enable disc". How can I recognize the ipod just as a storage device? |
