AnyDVD 5.8.3.1 adds support for Microsoft Vista Beta 2

This is encouraging for those of us that may be a bit discouraged lately with all the news of software and hardware controls in the works. Looks like at least at this point, Vista, Microsoft's long awaited successor to XP will accept the use of AnyDVD.

What's new in this Version: 5.8.3.1  2006 01 21

  • Added support for a new version of the Sony Arccos protection
    as found on "KAENA" R2 (German) to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors"
  • Added support for Microsoft Windows Vista (Beta 2)

Bug Fix:

  • Closes connection after automatic update check
