Hypertuning

Ciao a tutti, girovagando nei vari forum trovo spesso questo termine ma ancora non ho capito a cosa si riferisce. Potreste darmi una delucidazione?.

Hypertuning è una caratteristica dei masterizzatori liteon che consiste nel miglioramento della qualità di masterizzazione grazie al fatto che il drive "impara" dalle masterizzazioni precedenti. In pratica è la stessa cosa che fanno i BenQ con quello che loro chiamano "Solid Burn".

Anche se questo suona molto promettente, in pratica non produce quei miglioramenti miracolosi che uno si potrebbe aspettare.

Per abilitare questa opzione occorre lo strumento apposito. E' un tool che va scaricato dal sito liteon.

Smart Burn

Ne esiste anche una versione modificata da C0deKing, che permette di abilitare altre funzioni avanzate del drive, ma io non l'ho mai provato

Oltre alla versione 3.1.16t di C0deKing che gestisce l'Online Hypertuning (oltre all'Hypertuning "semplice") è stata rilasciata una nuova versione 3.2.0 da Wind, che fa parte dello staff LiteOn. Questa versione gestisce anche il Forced HyperTuning (FHT).

io uso la EEPROM Utility (che fa anche da Settings Utility) http://codeguys.rpc1.org/utilities.html

ma la mia domanda è: hypertuning non si intende la stessa cosa del Force Hypertuning? cioè ingnorare le strategie di scrittura presenti nel fw per imparare man mano da solo la stratega migliore.
perchè se non è così casco dalle nuvole

intendo dire: da non confondere col Online Hypertuning (correzioni al volo durante la masterizzazione)
