ImgBurn Discuss, ImgBurn version 2.4.0.0 released!! at Burning Software forum; Hmm, I updated to this version, but when I was burning my screensaver still popped up. I didn't restart my computer after I installed so I'm not sure if that is the problem, but it didn't prompt me to do so and assumed I didn't need to. Is this working

You have to actually enable the option in the settings as it's off by default.

Did you do that and it still not work?

I have enabled it in the software to on and screen saver still comes on. Using Vista Premium 32 bit. No biggie i can reset screen saver to a high number in OS. BTW this software makes the old BenQ 1655 rock. I burn at 8.1x on Verb 2.4x DL media with modifed BCDB firmware for MKM-001

While not the power user many on here are, I've had great results using this prog. Hats off to LUK for this awesome app.!

I think the screensaver thing might only work if the application is the foreground window at the time - I think that's the only one Windows sends the SC_SCREENSAVE message to.

Also, as of Windows Vista, whatever an application does with the SC_SCREENSAVE message (i.e. block or allow it), it's ignored if password protection is enabled.

I'll add support for the file extension in the dialog boxes if it makes you happy though

It should already be supported if you select it using the 'All Files' filter. Files under 50mb are automatically treated as Audio if they're not a known image file format/extension.
