Better than that. It will burn data files from your harddrive to DVD without needing to build an image first. And it will also burn VIDEO_TS folders straight to disc and create a fully compliant DVD-Video disc.Quote:Originally Posted by geno888Thanks for the info
Now ImgBurn is able to create ISO files

I now only need my other burning app for creating audio cds - ImgBurn does everything else.

With ImgBurn and UltraISO it's getting harder and harder to find something to use Nero for. Multi-session burning comes to mind, but other than that...
I've already burned my first DVD+R with ImgBurn 2.0.0.0 BTW!__________________

I know, and with Burrrn for CDA...I honestly dunno what I'm gonna use Nero for now (as I don't use multi-session if I can help it)!Quote:Originally Posted by DrageMesterWith ImgBurn and UltraISO it's getting harder and harder to find something to use Nero for. The improvement in the buffer is nice feature, MUCH appreciated, on my system Nero Burning ROM always had a far more stable buffer under multitasking vs. ImgBurn, CD-DVD Speed, etc. The buffer seems much improved and more stable under multitasking with this new release, similar to Nero Burning ROM with my first test - I had severe buffer issues at times under heavy mutitasking with older versions while Burning ROM didn't skip a beat, but my first test suffered no buffer issues at all under moderate multitasking. For that reason alone I still used Burning ROM for most of my burns, ISOs included. Looks like that may not be the case now.
P.S. - donated despite the fact that I'm broke and a cheapskate.
Keep up the good work LightningUK.

any chance that an iso decompiler can be added? so basically the opposite of build ( i cannot think of the word)
i have many iso i have created of the years that it would be nice to decompile, add a few more files and then rebuild__________________

If you don't mind paying $30 for a lifetime license, you can do what you want and more with UltraISO.
The new version of UltraISO will even allow you to add some files to an ISO image and burn it to CD/DVD, without actually saving the image first!
There are other commercial ISO image editing tools, but UltraISO is the one that I use and can recommend.__________________

That or mount the ISO in DAEMON Tools, copy to hdd, add files and then reburn.
There are always loads of ways of doing these kinds of things.__________________
