Cool ... so when are consumers going to see these fancy LCD TV's with extra colour filters?

Or is it more likelywe'll all end up with OLED TV's in a few years which are superior to LCD in every way ?

Yeah, LED is definately fine. Went to Fry's today and they had a 55" Samsung LED playing next to a 55" Samsung LCD. Hands down the LED (at twice the price) looked better.
