The Pioneer plasmas are the best in the market and better than any LCD at this point in time. They are shifting to Panasonic for manufacture of the smaller model to compete on price. Currently, the 42" Pioneer is the same price as Panasonic's 50" model.

Agreed. Pioneer Plasmas are the best. Too bad not many people can afford them.

Dunno whether the Pioneer are real better than Panasonic, but Plasma still have better picture-quality than ÖCD
