Have you tried contacting a authorized Mitsubishi repair dealer in your area to see if they can source a screen for ya?

If it's just the protective screen, a local plastics fabricator would be able to cut a properly sized piece of Lexan, which is bulletproof, to replace it...
If it's the fresnel screen, then platinumsword's suggestion would be your best approach...

Did the actual projection screen rip? You can step it up a notch and purchase a solid rear projection screen will bring out the conrast

Plastic screens don't rip...We're discussing a rear projection TV with sandwiched plastic screens...

The rearmost screen is a fresnel lens type screen and is required...
Replacing it with another type of plastic screen is not an option...
