| Full HD is 1080p. HD Ready usually doesn't have a proper HD tuner. I'd expect that HD Tuner versions are 1080i or 720p TV's, which aren't capable of a full 1080p display, so drop everything down to a 720p resolution, but do have a 720p/1080i tuner in the TV.

| Thank you Debro for your reply. We have got the tv (with HD tuner) in it only ch.10 has a smaller picture so that is ok. |

| Usually all digital Channels are broadcast in 16:9 ratio .. although some programs may be broadcast as 4:3 ratio, with the black bands each side. If all your channels have the 4:3 with black bands either side (and speckles/noise), you're likely using the ANALOGUE tuner, and the Digital Tuner will provide much better quality. Also be aware that many channels have both HD & SD digital broadcasts, and if possible, you wan the HD broadcast which looks much nicer
