I believe that the AS3810TG notebook is supported by realtek audio drivers.

All you have to do is right click on the speaker at the bottom right on the screen, hit playback devices, and select 'realtek digital output' as default, then HDMI will output sound as well.

If you don't have the speaker on the bottom right hand corner you will have to go into the control panel.
