Hi all.. Just moved over to DVD neXT COPY for its 64bit support, but I am having an issue after the installation. Unable to copy Full DVD or Copy to Mobile. Disc is not encrypted (I burned myself - it is home movie).

Soon as I press Copy Now!, I get a DNC3Ultimate message window " An invalid argument was encountered".

Thanks in advance

Is this from a camcorder or DVR or a standalone DVD Recorder?

This is from a camcorder and the DVD is burned on the same pc with pinnacle. I get the same error on any DVD. Just did not want folks to assume it was encryption issue.

The issue is this is not a standard DVD Format. Just use Imgburn for this.

I've tried different dvds.. all same error. Some are movies, some are camcorder recordings. It appears to be something wrong with my installation.. maybe conflicting program?

Also - getting this now
"After receiving the "invalid argument.." message, I am also getting a microsoft visual c++ error. Runtime error c:\program files(x86)\dvdnextcopy 3\dnc3ultimate.exe. This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information. "

Your Antivirus or firewall may be blocking the program to execute. Even might be a program like webroot software too.

I believe the DLL version has no bearing on the version the software is. They update only what's broken or buggy not every file. There is something on your system blocking the install process and not sure what that is to be honest. I don't run nothing on my system but Kaspersky Internet Security and test Microsoft Security Essentials and both are ok from my testing.

It finally installed. Didn't have to run as admin . I'm still having the same prob.. There is one weird thing, not sure if it is related.. But I am unable to paste the product serial number in for registration. Only way to enter is manual.

Here is a copy of the log.. nothing jumping out as an error.
