DVD's to BD Problem

This thread is about the LG GGCH20L Super Multi Blue Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD-Rom Drive. Click here to see full specs

I need someone that has a BD burner to see if they can reproduce the problem I had.

I just tried after many months and now I get video but no sound. I tried various settings on my PS3 to no avail. Needing some others with BD burners and a PS3 to test and try out please.

PS3 preferably but it's okay to use your stand alone BD Player. I haven't tried it on the PC yet as I have no playback software for this.

Re: DVD's to BD Problem

I have the LG HL-DT-ST BDDVDRW GGC-H20L and the HL-DT-ST BD-RE GGW-H20L in my i7 920 PC. I have used the BD ROM (GGC) to rip BD iso files made with AnyDVD HD and burn them with DVDNextCopy or IMGBurn back to BD-RE (with GGC), as well as copy DVDs from ROM to burner. Audio is there.

Hush-hush, I was also able to obtain a very limited now-discontinued manufacturer BD set of files and used IMGBurn to make a BD-RE of that too. It plays with audio and video as well.

I do not have a PS3, I have a Panasonic DMP-BD60K (actually the Costco special 605 that has the HDMI cable in the box).

Re: DVD's to BD Problem

Mine was making several DVD's to burn on one BD. Not a BD to BD.
