Hello having a problem, I purchased DVD Next copy, upgraded to DVD Next copy 2, everything worked fine played in my DVD player no problems. Upgraded once again to DVD Next Copy Ultimate, burned a movie, will play in computer but not in any of my DVD players have any idea what the problem is. Everything was the same except the upgrade. 3rd party plugin is either the machinist or anydvd. What is the exact version number you are using? What type of blank media, what title?

I'm using DVDNextCopyUltimate Version 3.0.4.3
Blank Media is Sony DVD-R 1-16x If you have these 3rd party plug ins would that effect the burn so it won't play on other dvd players, just on computer.

No the plugin is needed to decrypt the DVD to make a backup. What is your burn speed set at? Is it all DVD's or just this one? Fill disc or movie only?

Burn Speed is 4x, Its all DVDs, Fill Disc

Some on this forum says that burning premium 16x should be at no slower that one-half the rated 16x. So, no slower that 8x.

So you upgraded to the Ultimate and unable to play your copies. Well I need you to do a CLEAN INSTALL
Also for those SONY DVD-R you can burn them at 12X or 8X speed. 8X is the safe point but not any slower than that as SONY are pretty good for media as I get some really good burns with them.
