mine is installed in an enclosure with GL811 chipset. Works nicely

Hi Michael,

What's the brand of the enclosure? To check if it's available.

I have found a NorthQ NQ-14001 enclosure from Scanmalta.com but I can't find what is the chipset.

Vipower VPM-6228T. Really old stuff, I have it for more than 3 years. (some impressions)

Sometimes one can find out if there are Win98 drivers available.
NEC chipsets are another very good option.

The 7200A also works fine via USB in a Prolific PL-3507 chipset based enclosure.

I got the Conceptronic CIS525U and it uses a JMicron Chipset (JM20337). Till now, it worked flawlessly with the Optiarc AD-7200A.
