| HI, I am having some dificulty with K3b. I am running Suse 9.1 and have an Optiaric DVD RW AD-517A. Do I need some kind of firmware ? Are there any other, better (above post in mind), methods of burning. I hope that I havn't cros posted here and look fowards to any replies.Cheers, music box |

| I've used lots of different Linux burners over the years and K3b gets the nod from me as the best burning app, overall for Linux. That said, I use it when running KDE, but if I'm running Gnome, I usually use Brasero, although I used GnomeBaker for a while, as well. Graveman was another very good, lightweight Linux burning app, and it had very few dependencies so it was great with any desktop environment, or window manager, but it seems that it's no longer maintained, and no new releases have come out for several years.
