Ditto. I'm testing a trial version of Nero Linux 3 and everything works fine but I prefer K3b because is integrated with my KDE desktop and, the best, IT'S FREE!

I use kb3 and nero linux 3. I find both of them to be superb. kb3 has an edge since it's more polished looking and free.

k3b. I used Nero exclusively (and loved it) when I used windows. k3b is equal or better that nero. I don't miss nero at all.

What sort of problems?
Would you like to be a little more specific?

Suse 9.1 is kinda old, maybe that is the problem.

I will not buy Nero products anymore. They are as bad as Microsoft. You never truly own it. Once you have installed it a certain amount of times then You have to contact them to get it activated and if you have moved it from one machine to another they hassle you for that figuring you are using it on two machines. Other wise the software is good but as with most it is over priced for never owning it. Good luck. Jim

I've used lots of different Linux burners over the years and K3b gets the nod from me as the best burning app, overall for Linux. That said, I use it when running KDE, but if I'm running Gnome, I usually use Brasero, although I used GnomeBaker for a while, as well. Graveman was another very good, lightweight Linux burning app, and it had very few dependencies so it was great with any desktop environment, or window manager, but it seems that it's no longer maintained, and no new releases have come out for several years.
