Made partitions 20, 10, 10 the last 10 gb is not getting detected. when fdisk is run again, it says 'cannot access fixed disk 1' sounds familiar to anyone. ??

| If fdisk can't find any unallocated clusters/space: Huh, maybe fdisk toasted your data if you had anything on it when it shutdown. Get a 98 boot disk, run fdisk kill all your partitions and start again. sorry! If you have Power Quest Partition Magic: Just add the extra space to the current partition With fdisk: uhhhh.....

| if your running windows you cant have a 20 10 and 10 windows will only see about 36gb of the drive, hd manufacturers use 1000kb=1mb 1000mb=1gb m$ uses 1024kb=1mb and1024mb=1gb so accourding to windows its probably a tital of about 34-37gb drive so you can only do 20 10 and 4-7 |
