| Re: Prices tumbling on Sandisc SSDs They've come down a lot on Amazon UK also. The 240GB model is £155 and the 480GB model is £400. Still nowhere as cheap as Amazon US though. For the ~512GB capacity range on Amazon UK, the Crucial M4 512GB seems to be the best value at £315. |

| Re: Prices tumbling on Sandisc SSDs I bought a 512 C4 Crucial last week for 399.99 no tax no shipping. Now this week I see the Sandisc Extreme 480gb for 379.00 and the 240GB is only 179.00, I dont care what the next gen brings, these prices cannot be overlooked.

| Re: Prices tumbling on Sandisc SSDs I just got a Kingston Hyper X 3K SSD 90GB for $70 USD from NewEgg. Put in the wifes PC and she is happy. I want a 240/256 size drive a 480/512 would be nice too but I don't have the computer cash for a few months.

| Current price at Newegg for the Sandisc extreme 120gb (reviewed above) is $129... 120gb for a system drive is all most people need

| SSD industry is going to have to compete with SDXC media cards soon! That's what's bringing down the price of SSD drives.. These flash cards read/write starting @ 100mb/sec which is comparable to hard drive speeds and will improve throughput in successive generations. |
