Hard Drive usage LED doesnt light up

I just built a new computer, and for some reason the LED that indicates when the hard drive is in use never lights up even during Windows XP load screen. I did connect the H.D.D. LED connector to the right place on the Mobo. Does this mean the light or cable is broken somewhere?

I am using an Asus P4B Deluxe/Wifi-AP motherboard, and a WD Raptor 10,000RPM HDD.

Any help would be great thanks

Re: Hard Drive usage LED doesnt light up

Try turning the connector 180° to switch the + and - pins.
