With the update, due later this month, LG's flagship Blu-ray player will support Vudu, Netflix, Roxio CinemaNow and YouTube. The Vudo service gives users access to a streaming library of movies, in SD and HD, which can be purchased or rented on a per-title basis with no monthly fee. The LG player also offers DivX playback and features 1GB of built-in memory for BD Live functionality.

The deal comes after Vudu recently announced integration with LG and Mitsubishi televisions.
