Hallo,

ik ontving deze mail, zonder dat ik deze persoon ken of iets gedaan heb dat in haar mail staat (vetgedrukt)

Worden dan als aangepaste woordenlijst toegevoegd aan uw spellingcontrole. Om deze te activeren hoeft u niets anders te doen dan de Setup uit te voeren van het programma dat u heeft gedownload van de Microsoft weblocatie.
Deze aangepaste woordenlijsten zijn altijd beschikbaar als u als taal voor spellingcontrole Nederlands (standaard) heeft gekozen ( HYPERLINK \l "TaalInstellen" zie hierboven).
Als u wilt weten welke aangepaste woordenlijsten zijn geïnstalleerd, kiest u Opties uit het menu Extra en klik vervolgens op de tab Spelling en grammatica.

Het bijgevoegde bestand heet: unregmp2.exe , vooral het deel 'unreg' doet me vrezen voor een virus.

Deleten,nooit wat aan klikken helemaal geen .exe of vbs files van mensen die je niet kent kan net zo goed een trojan zijn...

Ik persoonlijk had het gelijk gedeleted.

Gelijk, geen risicos lopen. Prullebak erin ermee... Zelf heb ik niet veel (zeg maar geen) verstand van virussen maar als ik een mail ontvang met rare lettertjes en tekentjes weet ik wel dat die mail geen minuut langer op mijn harde schijf zal blijven...

Kreeg zojuist een mail van iemand met de volgende tekst:

Met als attachment het volgende bestand: Homepage.HTML.vbs

Dit van iemand die ik al heel lang niet gemaild heb en normaal alleen in het Nederlands mailt. *.vbs bestanden nooit openen

Attachments met *.vbs extensie nooit openen, ook niet als het van bekenden is (met name dan eigenlijk)

Mails van personen die normaal in het NL mailen en ineens in het Engels ook nooit vertrouwen. (evt als er FW, van forward bij staat)

je moet gewoon nooit emails met een engelse subject openen. Zeker als je geen connecties hebt die engels spreken. En als je die hebt, zeg dan dat ze altijd een zelfde topic gebruiken ofzo.
En in dit geval gewoon negeren.

Emails openen boeit nie zo veel...alleen geen attachments van onbekende openen!

De helft van mijn e-mails komt van buiten Europa...dan zou ik de hele e-mail wisseling met Oostenrijkse en Franse Schonen moeten missen

Oh ja, nog even: unregmp2.exe is 112 kb, is dat niet weinig voor:

een .exe bestand (met setup) dat een hele woordlijst bevat?

En weet iemand waar ik dat programma kan laten testen of het een virus is? Ik heb al gekeken op www.norton.com maar daar hebben ze nergens een knop: 'Report a new virus!'
