Safer Internet Day (SID) is organised in February of each year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones. Although Google ensures that data stored in Drive is always encrypted before its transferred and securely resides in Google’s data centers, this checkup should make sure that you take advantage of all security features Google offers.

If you complete the check up by 17 February 2015,  Google gives away 2 gigabyte permanent storage in your Google Drive.

In order to take advantage of the offer you need to complete this page. The additional storage will be automatically granted to everyone around 28 February 2015 and the search giant will send an email when the adjustment is complete.
