Communication fail: DirectX 11.1 partly available on Windows 7

A few days ago we reported that Microsoft’s Principal Program Manager Lead, Daniel Moth, posted on the MSDN forums that DirectX 11.1 would only become available on Windows 8. This would mean that gamers who want make use of all the features of Microsoft's latest 3D graphics API would need to switch to Microsoft's latest OS. But Chuck Walbourn, who is a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft has stated something different on his blog on the Microsoft website. According to him will parts of the DirectX11.1 runtime become available for Windows 7 users who have Service Pack 1 installed.
