what do I do now? dvdfab express

I used dvd fab express to rip a dvd to my hard drive. In windows explorer I have a folder that was created called dvd with sub folders audio_ts and video_ts. In the video_ts folder theres a bunch of files with *.ifo, *.bup and mostly *.vob. I want to burn this to a single layer dvd+R but dont want any extras but I want to preserve the structure so that chapters are accesible. Do I just burn the vob extension files or do I need the others. I dont need the other languages either...its 24 season 4 last year. I have nero for my burning software. When I click on one of the vob files it opens a nero player and I can basically see the show. How do I do this or should I really use dvd shrink?

Use Nero set to movie only to open the folder. Set your source as the folder the movie is in. No need for you to open a vob file Nero will open the folder and then you are ready to set your target such as your burner. You will be able to select audio or subtitles you want or do not want from Nero before burning.

okay I'll burn and learn thanks. btw what do all those extensions mean?

Audio_TS is empty but some players look for this folder and will not play unless it is there. Why not just rip the main movie with express with language you want. Also you can choose between Wide screen or regular. W by longest time is the widescreen. You can only choose 1 video, but if you want more than one sound track you can hold down control and click. I do this sometimes and just let it burn to a temp file, then change disc when Express request a blank. Almost a 1 click operation with great success.

Note, Nero (at least the 6.X versions), does not recognize the audio_ts folder, and will not add to burn set. However, at least on my panny standalone, never has been an issue.

audio_ts is used for audios dvds only (audio files are putted here) and video-ts for video dvds only (video files are putted here). Each folder is keeping empty when other sort is used...

Keep the two folders and do it youself if the burning software don't do it, to keep more compatibility to all home dvd players.

Okay Ive been able to burn with great success. 2 problems though. After I ripped the 3rd 24 season 4 dvd with my wifes computer on a network and then copied later to my hard drive through the network Nero recode2 only gets to the last nine seconds and says it encountered an error because it could not find a file (it doesnt specify which) and so I cant burn but I can play the files with Nero showtime. Should I recopy from my wifes hard drive...btw did this because two computers were faster than one.
Also for each disc it is composed of 4 episodes...On one or two of dvds I was running out of time so I only burned the episode only. DVD fab decryptor would only allow selection of one main (episode) at a time so basically I ended up with for folders I renamed Dvd1D6...Dvd4D6. Its two bad that dvd decryptor doesnt name the folder it rips to the same as the source dvd...Anyway how do I go about burning all these folders to one dvd. I notice that dvd fab rips in the same sequence so that all the files it recovers will have the same names in my episode folders. I am going to use nero recode but I know it only does one dvd at a time.

You can do this with DVD Shrink easily.
