I was just wondering if it is normal to take 5 hrs to back up a blu-ray using Movie Only setting. I just backed up my Blu-Ray Red State. I used Movie Only Mode on Blu-Ray Copy. I have a 6x Blu-Ray writer (Memorex external) and use 6x blu-ray media (Memorex). It took 1 hr to copy amd 4 hrs to write. Please advise if their is a remedy or if this is normal.

First, is standard verifying after writing enabled?
That doubles the writing time.
Also, depending on your used software, it could be that the movie were recoded to fit the destination disc........__________________

I beleive you'll find a setting in common setting to auto check DMA, if you don't have it checked you may want to check that setting..Quote:Originally Posted by sjg
