Tags in AVI files

DVDFab / DVD Region+CSS Free Discuss, Tags in AVI files at Movie copy software forum; I have tried to get the taggig working with no success. From the profile document, it seems possible:- <tag title="SHREK.Title1.Angle1.DVDRip" year="2006" author="admin" album="SHREK" copyright="" comment="" genre="" track=""/> <!-- tag title - specify title tag information in output file. year - specify year tag information in output file. author ... -

I have tried to get the taggig working with no success.

From the profile document, it seems possible:-

<tag title="SHREK.Title1.Angle1.DVDRip" year="2006" author="admin" album="SHREK" copyright="" comment="" genre="" track=""/>

</file>

I want to end up with tags like this:-

[ISGN] Comedy
[ISTR] Martin Lawrence, Will Smith
[ILNG] English
[IRTD] R
[INAM] Bad Boys II
[IART] Michael Bay
[IPRD] Movie
[ICRD] 2003
[IGNR] Action
[ICOP] None Now
[ISFT] VirtualDubMod 1.5.4.1 (build 2178/release) VirtualDubMod build 2178/release
[IDIT] 2006

[ISRF] Film
[IMED] DVD
[IAS1] English

What would be ideal is a "TAG" page where you can set them for each encode.

Yeah, I use ABCAvi Tag Editor because my uPnP Streaming Server recognises them and then does a good job on sorting the library.

It is just a bit laborious though.

yep - that would be a great addition ... bit of a large enhancement to the UI though, I bet ... and it could only be av'l when doing .AVI conversion.
