You are not allowing for the 20% discount. More like US$112.

You can back up alot more movies than you can purchase two times for $112.00.

Not to mention the savings of not buying downloadable movies. The cost of those is the joke. If you make a dozen DVD to Mobile conversions it has paid for itself.

Its a good product with good support you only get what you pay for. I have been a customer for two years and got the lifetime when I bought mine.

I agree with the origional poster.............I was "considering" at the $70 with 20% discount.........$100+.....with annual renewals...forget it. Too bad there isn't a life-time-buy option too.

I agree it is a great product but at these prices there are other options.

Re: are the new DVDFab prices a joke?

I have 2 lifetime keys for DVDFab Platinum and plan on buying more lifetime keys for the rest of the product line. You have to look at the long run on how much you pay for your DVD's and how much it will cost to replace those damaged scratched DVD's that the kids ruined on you.
And like signals mentioned the mobile conversions pay for the product just by themselves

Maybe four or five years from now, these prices may not seem like a joke.

Re: are the new DVDFab prices a joke?

I know a lot of people who have turned away from DVDFab when things was split into options I see DVDFab is losing even more over the prices

Glad I got the lifetime registration a long time ago for Platinum with DVD to Mobile, all the other options I'll never use or buy

Re: are the new DVDFab prices a joke?

I bought it with lifetime when it was V3.x .. As to Blu Ray, I don't yet have an Blu Ray discs, player or burner. And until blank media costs come down, i have no need for it. Perhaps on my next computer in a few years or so.

I agree it does the job, and the new options are great, all you need is in one package. Neat and clean.

Anything over $50-60 is WAY overpriced for what this software does. It's a joke to price it over $100. No W-a-y!

Everyones opinions are respected here, noone is forcing anyone to buy it. There is a 20% discount if that will help you.
