| I'm sorry if this is not the proper way to do this but I am new to the forum and I didn't see a tread that included United 93 on in with this problem so I wanted to try. So here's the deal: I tried to back up Inside Man and United 93 using DVD Region+CSS Free 5.9.8.3 and Nero Recode 2 v. 2.2.6.17; and using DVD Region+CSS Free 5.9.8.3 and DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15; and also just using DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15's built in decoder with no luck. It would import just fine, but when I began to encode to HDD it would give an error befor getting to 0.1% and error out the programs making me close them out. What I have noticed when I enable previewing is that it makes it through the FBI warnings, etc. then attempts to encode the Universal globe symbol and it seems to be cutting inbetween the globe logo and footage of a person jumping in the air, that is when it stops encoding. It did this for both United 93 and Inside Man. The way I got around this was to use DVD Fab Decrypter 3.0.1.2 to encode the movie to the HDD then used Nero Recode 2 v. 2.2.6.17 to compress and burn to disc. I did this with Flight 93 and have yet to attempt it with Inside Man, I assume it will work seeing as they are both recent Universal Studios releases. My question, then, is, since I know DVD Fab Decrypter and DVD Region+CSS are both from Fengtao Software, Inc., why did it work with one program and not the other? Has DVD Fab Decrypter been updated more recently that DVD Region+CSS? Or is there something that I should do to my computer to make this work? Again I appologize if this is the improper way to submit this, I am just learning on forums and thought this might be happening to other so maybe I could help someone, and myself, out. |

| I used AnyDVD (Latest Version) and DVD Decrypter (Last Version) with no problems whatsoever. Burnt back using DVD Decrypter onto a DL disc and it plays like a charm.
