Question: How do you play a VOB file on windows

how do you play a VOB movie file on a pc with windows vista? i can play them when copied as a different generic file, but having a problem with the VOB file extension. i'd like to play it on my laptop if i can so any help would be great. ive looked on line and even though there are some "fixes" they say, im not sure which one to download.

VLC, Media Player Classic, SMPlayer....Any of these will play proper VOBs...What so-called "fixes" do they need? __________________

The "fixes" are probably for Windows Media Player. Do as t0nee suggested and get VLC media player. It is free, never needs codecs and will play almost anything. __________________

the so called fixes are driver updates or codec repairs. i'm not sure what to down load you know. ill check out VLC and let u know. thanks. - Posted:

Hey signals, yeah thanks!..Since I don't use WMP, I forget it needs so-called "fixes" all/most of the time...
