how to determine output file's video bit rate?

when i right click an mp4 output file i can't see the video bit rate in the properties.

i heard this is b/c if you do two pass encoding the bit rate is variable.

is there a way with this program or another to a movie mp4 i ripped and view the average video bit rate?

thanks!

VLC Media player will show you the bitrate in realtime if the file is playing; AVICodec is good, MediaInfo will integrate with Windows File-> right click tab and gives lots of info including bitrate for video and ausio.
