Latest version is great! Nice work! Would still like to see the ability to set the burn rate in the common settings, rather than just Min or Max.

I got another add request now, you know how you can choose between VSO or Nero Burning Rom to burn, could you also add ImgBurn to that list as now ImgBurn can also burn VOB files directly, thank you

Little request. To make DVDFab Decrypter not detect Virtual CloneDrive as AnyDVD. That pop up saying "AnyDVD is detected. You need disable AnyDVD to make DVDfab work correclty." drives me crazy! Thank You.

I do not think you can just add another authors program to your just because you want to. There are liscencing costs involved. Imgburn is a free proggy for you and me, but I think it might be different for another author to add it to his program. I agree it would be nice to have that ability but the VSO engine is a great one, used by many different burning programs. I would like the ability to burn.iso files then you could use Imgburn as a separate program if you did not delete the files.

I too would like to see a more precise burn speed selection in the main settings other than fastest and slowest... and about the anydvd, would like to see it to be able to run along with platinum, because i use a variaty of burning softwares that use it... its not a big hassle opening and closing it, but it is a small one LoL...

I agree with Alan, and with all the legal problems LukeUK has had with the DVD Decrypter having his burning engine shop up in a ready to run product as an option might cause more problems for him. There may be a way to put a generic setting where an advanced end user could add it. But advanced end user probably have the ability to put that in themselves.

in split a dvd9 in 2 dvd5 please if you choose a scene on dvd 1 that is on dvd2 you can put an image until you put the 2nd dvd? with magic dvd ripper it's possible.... so there is a possibilty on new beta of dvd-fab? thanks a lot

alan and Mack are exactly right and they did a great job of providing some reasons. I actually had discussed this with Fengtao prior to the release of Fab Beta's v. 1-10. Certainly at that time, he did not anticipate integrating other burn utilities and I doubt that will change.

I am wondering if someone wants another burning program if the could rename the folders and exe filed to the ones of Nero. I have no reason to experiment at this time but I remember there was a process that used that to enable Shrink to bring up IB instead of DD, but required a little more than renaming.

While the % compression is a very useful parameter, I would love to see actual file sizes displayed. Specific numbers are particularly helpful when selecting various titles and configuring a disc. For eg., recode2 will display a table of file sizes (numbers), as well as a slide bar indicating disc space....something like this would be ideal.

Related to this, of course, would be the ability or functionality to actually alter compression ratios of the individual files selected.

This is a big one for me also. I prefer to delete coming attractions but keep any of the extra titlesets that have to do with the making of the movie. Then I want to adjust the main movie title so that is has the least compression while the remaining titlesets get the most compression. I also want to see the percent of compression in each titleset along with the overall compression. I have had trial versions but I would purchase this software if this feature were added.

I agree that it would be nice to set the burn rate as a prefered setting ie 8x Also could you include a verify disc option to check the burn after.

Hi

1. Just checking if I've got it right or not. Under the DVD to mobile screen, shouldn't the "Audio Bitrate (kbps)" actually read "(bps)" as the data is in the form of xx000? Just cosmetic but it would nice to see it displayed right.

2. Also, shouldn't there also be an input box for "Audio Frequency (Hz)"? All the profiles list a possible selection of frequencies e.g. <freq value="48000" list="8000,12000,24000,32000,44100,48000" />, but these selection options do not appear anywhere on the page. Not too serious as it's pretty simply to create a profile with the settings wanted.

Is it possible to show the size of the source disc? I've wasted a lot of dual layer blank DVDs when I accidentally backup a single layer to a dual layer DVD. (Forgot to check the size of the source disc in “my computer”) Thank you.

If they choose to ignore my e-mails and the relevant issues I'll continue to post my complaints! With all due respect, if my posts are that bothersome, you are welcome to refrain from reading them. Hopefully my numerous posts would behoove Fengtao to finally correct the problem, at which time I will be delighted to abstain from this forum - as I did a year ago. The last time Fengtao took over 6 in their endeavors, responding with mostly ridiculous nonsense until they finally figured it out and thus released an update that finally worked. My continued posts are by no means geared towards offending or annoying anyone, rather to get results without excuses; I treat my clients that way hence I expect no less from others.

Remember we are guest on this forum, fengtao does not own CDFreaks. We once had a forum, DVDIdle Forum; but it was hijacked by a paid professional hacker. The people at CDFreaks rolled out the welcome mat to us (the users of fengtao products) and we appreciate this and follow their rules. CDFreaks has been very liberal in enforcing the rules in this section, but duplicate posts take up space while using extra bandwidth which can cause them money. Read over the other sections and you will see how strict the mods can be on double posters. Remember when in Rome, do what Romans do. We have had some problem in the earlier days on the forum, but we tried to keep within the rules because we are guests. So don't get mad, when CDFreaks mods warn you or delete your posts.

Yes - I've read it. Nothing relevant there. The issue is with the program, not with any of my copmputers. No I don't use a liteon drive. Further to your previous comments, I assure you that I'm not "mad". I'm simply seeking a solution to this problem - nothing else. Fengtao has a history of ignoring peoples support issues and trying to place the blame on peoples computers and / or peoples computer knowledge, insinuating the lack thereof. Considering the aforementioned, I really have no choice but to double post on occasion in order to get Fengtao's attention. To the guys at CD Freaks, as soon as Fengtao addresses this problem I'll be gone!
