| It is a question about DVDFab platinum 3.2.1.0. I divided a DVD - video (two levels) into two pieces (one level) and was going to back it up…I do not recognize a DVD - video at all. I recognize it with the other modes, but only splict does not function. Why will be it? Because I move, I think the other functions not to be the affinity of the drive. In addition, a phenomenon happens with the other PCs in the same way. Is whom or the one to understand woven? I ask. |

| Hi ask1983 and welcome to cdfreaks, Sorry for your trouble and sorry no one has replied. I have not used the split function in well over 2 years, but I'll try to help. I see that you updated from 3.2.1.0 to 4.0.0.0. First off, I'd recommend that you update again to: DVDFabPlatinum4005Beta.exe (just click on the link). I'm not quite sure what you meant by, Quote:
Is this just one movie on one side of a disc that you simply want to split? Is this the only movie that fails with split mode? What movie is this? Could you tell us, do you get any error messages?...an error code? You may be able to use Customize mode >Click on Advanced Title Settings then choose the chapters from the beginning to about half way through the movie and set this chapter as the end of the rip and burn to a disc. Do this again with the last half of the movie to another disc. You can set your target to your hdd first and check the files for playback...so you don't waste 2 more discs. Not an ideal way, but it should work.

| Hi again ask1983, Sorry, but I'm not understanding... "In DVDfab Lite, a main movie, split, possible, they're the biggest worries that platinum isn't made." I've never heard of DVDFab Lite. Did you update to Platinum 4.0.0.5? "split, can, is there DVD-Video fairly?" Could you state this another way. I don't understand. Thanks for your patience. I'm afraid I'm monolinguial ... English only...

| I'm sorry. I was good at English in an incomprehensible sentence. I download Platinum 4.0.0.5 and introduced it, but after all split does not function. It is mysterious for some reason that I have DVDFab Lite( free), and a pay edition is not possible. |

| I test it with platinum with a custom. I report the result that I tried. In fact, I wanted to copy not only the main movie but also all files. Please look forward to a report. |

| Thank you for signals. If a DVD file is smaller than 4.38GB, I am no use. This DVD has it of around 7.5GB in all, but there is the following reason. In fact, the DVD which I was going to copy is the commercial DVD which recorded serialization of the television. I am divided into six files besides a chapter (as for six chapters). It may be that it is a cause. Because it is not one big file like a movie. I check it in a custom even tomorrow and report it. Thank you. |

| Good luck, we will watch here for your report.
